Today was a hell day, drove to work early got a few things done. Worked all day until 15:30 not even a lunch-break that would count for something. Got home from work, did a bit of valcuum cleaning and fed Pixie, had him out for a bit. He stepped into my eye, just a few moments later I rubbed my eye with a finger that had just been in contact with a jalapeno. OUCH! Played a bit of Call of Duty: World at War, I’m at the second to last mission and it’s so hard it’s unbelieveable. Took a drive down to Netto and did some shopping and now I’m here. Just speding some time before I’mm picking Sara and a friend up from the movies.
I think I’m gonna drive out to Lyngby where I’m picking the girls up, and listen to some Giantbombcast from E3 and have some soda.

Hi all.
I had to do it eventually, write some stuff from my everyday life. Saturday Sara and I were at a friends house to visit him and his wife and watch Le Mans. We watched the first 8 hours at their placce and then we headed home. Sara went to bed and I watched a bit more Le Mans until about 3 in the morning.
Gaming-wise I’m playing Call of Duty: World at War on PC and as you can see on the frontpage I’ve written a small evaluation of it. On the Xbox 360 I’m not really playing anything but I spun up Need For Speed: ProStreet last week, and I can’t say that I’m the least bit pleased. I’m gonna have to write an evaluation of that too. On the PS3 I haven’t really played anything on that for ages, but I might have to play som Metal Gear Solid as it hasn’t been out of the cover since I played it for 30 minutes when I first got it.
It’s already monday now and I have to go to work in under 7 hours and I’m not even sleepy.

Gameplay: 5/5
This is going to be a very short paragraph, the gameplay just works, you get sucked in very quickly and lose track of time. The controls also just works like a charm and as they should. One thing I have noticed is that sometimes the enemies just stand there and aim at you but doesn’t shoot but if you get close enough, they charge at you.
Graphics: 4/5
The graphics in this game is very nicely done. The characters are very detailed and very well made. The landscapes the the open fields are “just” okay graphics wise but on the other hand the builds are outstanding and make the scenarios very claustrophobic that is just ace and makes your heart race a bit faster.
Audio: 5/5
Let me just start off with this, I don’t have a great sounds setup but it is a HIFI setup and the sound in this game is amazing. The soundtrack is brilliant and makes you feel like you’re in an action movie of some sort. The voice action is brilliant as well altough I can tell that some of the German soldiers and recycled material, this is not necesarily a bad thing but it’s just a thing I noticed.

After many years I’ve returned to one of my favorite gaming series Football Manager/Championship Manager. Not much have changed it’s still very fun and very time consuming. When I first got it for the exellent price of 27 DKR I thought to myself; “How much will I actually play this game, is it worth my time?”. Well after the first weekend I got my answer, I have played it for 15 hours pretty good considering I only had 48 in total to game in.
If you have some cash to splash and a lot of time on your hands this is a game for you. Oh and you have to like football by the way.

Overa month has passed since my last post, and nothing crazy has happened. I haven’t really gamed or watched any movies but that should change soon. I’ll have some mini reviews up as soon as possible.

The time came to start on the Call of Duty series again, I have 2 games lined up so far Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty: World at War. We are going to start with Call of Duty 2 as I haven’t even unwrapped Call of Duty: World at War yet.
To sum up the games content there are 10 missions that take you through 3 different campains. You start off as the Soviets then the British and then the Americans. To be fair I’m having a hard time getting through this game because I’m trying to complete it on Veteran difficulty (the hardest difficulty). But it’s really fun and challenging, the A.I. does a good enough job finding you and aims fairly well. Often you have to wait them out and then shoot them in the face before you have storm through to the next session. The graphics doesn’t look like a 2005 game compared to a game like King Kong also er ’05 game this looks miles better and controls alot better too.
I can definately recommend this game if you are into WWII games and and haven’t already tried it.

The game I’m speding the most time on at the moment is Forza Motorsport 2, I’ve had it since it launched back in May 2007 but never completed it. So now I’m trying to burn through all these races. I’ve completed 79% of the game up until now and I’ve spent 41 hours on it so theres still a good 10-15 hours in at maybe even more.
An top of that there’s alot of achievements to be had, right now I’m going for the last endurance race in the Endurance Race series, 40 laps of just going round and round. A bit boring really, but I’m willing to spend that time on it. After this achievement I have collected 468G/1000 so still alot of points left.
The best thing about this game is that you keep playing it, but I don’t think it has any replay value what so ever when you complete the offline/single player segment. The graphics are great and still good compared with newer racing games.
Roll on Forza motorsport 3!

Hi everyone.
The first DXG (Danish Xbox Gamers) Event was held yesterday only with 2 participants. Me and my brother. We had a blast playing FIFA 09 and Guitar Hero, the next event will hopefully have more than 2 participants and a couple of real tournament based contests with prizes included.
I don’t have a date for this yet but it will most likely be in April or May. More information will follow.
The games we are aiming to play at the events are at the moment:
If the DXG event keeps getting bigger, we will most likely expand it to an Online event so the people from around the country or the world can paricipate.
Regards,
UNP – DXG founder

Just found this on a Danish web shop, on official Gene Simmons axe guitar! Unfortunately it only work with PlayStation 2/PlayStation 3/Wii but the upside is that work can be used with both the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series.
Rock on folks!
